I will be moving into my new house on the Palm Jumeria next week, and I will have tons of space. I can host our entire events + 10. I know it is a little out of the way for the masses, but maybe a little mid-week pick up games? My family wont come till late August.
Does anyone else have any alternate playing spots for mid-week pick up games? MoE is good, but parking blos.

MoE is great for me, specially in 5 weeks when we move studios. Meh, the occasional midweek game wouldn't hurt but Saturday is still my game day.

ICHIGOOOOOOO!
My office is near Dubai Marina so not much of a problem to drop by for a couple hours. I can't have 3 days of Mtg a week though, so it's either that+saturday or thrusday+saturday.

While it sounds great to play midweek we've tried that before on a couple of occaisions and after the initial novelty wears off we'd struggle to get players to come due to family or work commitments.
However if it's a once a month thing then that might work but in all fairness for most it will still be either a flat no or a struggle to attend due to work the next day.
I for one have enough to do through the week that I'd not be able to attend.

The idea is more intended for 2 or 3 people to get together and test for a couple hours. For instance...I have 3 deck that I want to play on Regional weekend, but I want to test them...basically it will not replace Thursday/Saturday it will be for those of us that would like more testing/playing time. Good for casual homebrew decks that you always want to play but dont want to take a chance on when there is money on the line.

It's then a mental gymnastics to find out whether i can play a deck or not and what the chances are. Simply put: I also need to test before Saturday

Count me in y'all. I've got around 3 decks in mind that I'm not sure of what to use at Regionals...

why not transform ton8 into a deckbuilding/testing/beer night instead of the usual FNM? Of course we'd know more or less what the others would be playing Sat. but it'd make it more interesting as well.
