Dude, normally we meet at around 6PM onwards every Thursdays and Saturdays (the updated monthly timeslots are posted on the calendar) inside Rydges hotel (ground floor near the pool). It's the breakfast lounge, and we normally occupy the far corner of that place. You can buy the cards from any of our two trusted people, Trevor or Olivier; no shop though. See you! lapit me from satwa, where in Rydges? is there any shop here in dubai where we can buy cards?

Glen...prior engagement? WTF, this is the Pre-Release. Give me your wife's mobile number and I will ask her for you LOL. Wife just bought a "trophy-wife" dress for the event; can't say No to that, no matter how much I love BOP. We'll try to drop by though, in case the games are finishing late.

Bloodhall Ooze R Rare Creature - Ooze At the beginning of your upkeep, if you control a black permanent, you may put a +1/+1 counter on Bloodhall Ooze. At the beginning of your upkeep, if you control a green permanent, you may put a +1/+1 counter on Bloodhall Ooze. 1/1
I think red is the best color of the set...

Other conflux cards:
Thornling 3GG Mythic rare Creature - Shapeshifter G: Thornling gains haste until end of turn. G: Thornling gains trample until end of turn. G: Thornling is indestructible until end of turn. 1: Thornling gets +1/-1 until end of turn. 1: Thornling gets -1/+1 until end of turn. 4/4
Wow! As zak mentioned, this is as close to morphling as you can get (Torchling was crap). He's going to be weak against mono-white decks with path to exile/condemn/unmake/oblivion ring, but otherwise, he's the bomb especially in limited.
Apocalypse Hydra Rare XRG Creature - Hydra Apocalypse Hydra comes into play with X +1/+1 counters on it. If X is 5 or more, it comes into play with X additional +1/+1 counters on it. 1R, Remove a +1/+1 counter from Apocalypse Hydra: Apocalypse Hydra deals 1 damage to target creature or player. X/X
Look another pinger!
Banefire Rare XR Sorcery Banefire deals X damage to target creature or player. If X is 5 or more, Banefire can't be countered by spells or abilities and the damage can't be prevented.
Well, look at the new Demonfire! Could it be that it might even be better than its predecessor?
Exotic Orchard Land T: Add to your mana pool one mana of any color that a land an opponent controls could produce.
Would anyone play a fellwar stone land?

red can't burn it, and black can't destroy it because it is untargetable. White can wrath (or any wrath effects) but it will go straight to your library, unless you respond the trigger with Makeshift Mannequin. Buwahahahaa or cancel or dream fracture see? only a blue player knew the answer at the end! LOL white player = WRATH IT! red player = BURN IT! black player = DESTROY IT! green player = erhmmmmm make peace with it? and blue player = pfftttt just counter it.... *sigh* *changes page in his tome of knowledge* thinks 2 self "stupid other colors...." "dont solve the problem, lets prevent it, hold hands and counter" -jaces nursery rhym

Progenitus WWUUBBRRGG Mythic rare Legendary Creature - Hydra Protection from everything (This creature can't be blocked, targeted, dealt damage, enchanted or equipped.) When Progenitus is put into a graveyard from anywhere, shuffle it into its owner's library. 10/10
Granted, it can't be killed, but look at them abilities!
Mod Edit.
Protection from everything" means the following: Progenitus can't be blocked. Progenitus can't be enchanted or equipped. Progenitus can't be the target of spells or abilities. All damage that would be dealt to Progenitus is prevented. Progenitus can still be affected by effects that don't target it or deal damage to it (such as Wrath of God).

Hi everyone, The League Season 1 was followed by many and met its target. Many of you requested a Limited league so here it is! The principle of the league is slightly changed since it's limited: Players receive a sealed deck with which they build their deck. Players must play a certain number of other people over the course of 2 weeks. Every 2 weeks a new booster will be distributed to everyone to add to their current card pool. This league will run for 2 months (3 boosters received total). In order to minimize the cost of this league, everyone will be requested to register their decks on the Conflux Sealed Pre-Release on Saturday 31/01/09 and used that sealed deck for the League. Those not participating to that event will receive a random sealed poll upon registration (and just pay extra for that). The participation price will be around 75 AED, including the 3 extra boosters and all prizes (2 boosters per participant + goodies).. Prize distribution will be on 07 March 09 Let me know your thoughts! Cheers, Olivier I'm in!

Hi everyone, Starting with the Conflux Pre-release all UAE players participating in sanctioned events will automatically be rated on these forums in the Player's Race. The Player's Race is free and won't have (for now) any prizes but the satisfaction of being the best player around and a nice trophy to show off with! The Race will be re-initialized every 3 months to give a chance to everyone to prove themselves. The Points system used in the race will be very simple: 9 points for 1st place 6 points for 2nd place 3 points for 3rd place 3 point for 4th place 1 point for participation Cheers, Olivier That's a great idea... More tourney means more points!

And the winner is; Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker - 4UBBR +3: Destroy target noncreature permanent. -2: Gain control of target creature. -9: Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker deals 7 damage to target player. That player discards seven cards, then sacrifices seven permanents. 5 (starting loyalty) Planeswalker - Bolas hmmm... if only the casting cost was 1 less, then playable... not sure if he'll see play in standard he might fit in my planeswalker deck.. hehe.. otherwise i see him in block or limited tourneys only.

-9 Target opponent loses the game Hahaha.. I can just imagine... YOU: I remove 9 counters, you lose the game. ME: In response.... YOU: what on earth can you do?! ME: In response, I cast Makeshift Mannequin, targetting my Platinum Angel which was discarded earlier. BUWAHAHAHA.. I rule! Yes I do.

pare get your DCI number ready (if you already have one) and edit your location to Dubai, so that your rankings will be reflected in UAE.
