I want to run an old format one Saturday a month if the player base is there. This will help me figure out what format. If you choose vintage the tournement will NOT be sanctioned, but all others will.

Personally I'd play Legacy but i think this would auot-lock alot of folk out... and even good STD decks have been known to be able to compete in EXT..so i'll choose EXT. I'd even go so far as to suggest our own format....kinda. I'd suggest we prepare for the rotation by starting the post rotation format now... 1) I doubt that many folk have lots of IPA or OTJ ( here in case your wondering ...so they both rotate soon..and no-oone will want to invest in cards for those. 2) We get a heads-up if we test rotated decks now for when it does rotate 3) As noted above.. a current STD deck beefed up with a bit of RGD will be very, very competetive so even those with only a few old cards can have a shot. >EXT for me...  |

if it's an extended event count me in(specially if it's sanctioned).. although i might wanna maximize the current list of extended to date.

Extended will be more interesting for a lot of people, especialy since it's Invasion onwards

I'd love to play extended and use my ravnica cards... As long as there are no turn 1 kill (aside from dragonstorm decks). LOL.

By overwhelming support we will have an Extended event. There will be a Full prize support and 16k rating. Price will be 40 AED for just constructed or 120 AED for 3 rounds constructed with top 8 draft. The draft will be either Rav Block, or something older. With top 4 prize payout plus random old FMN cards to give away.
Please review the DCI banned and restricted list prior to event as to be up to date. deck checks and deck registration will be required. I will post link to Deck reg sheets soon. I will also have them availible the day of the event.
The event will start August 23rd @ 1 PM Sharp. Registration to begin at Noon. Any forced byes will be awarded to the highest ranked constructed player. Late entries will be cutoff at the start of round 2.
