Rules Tip of the Day:
Creatures are unable to tap to activate their own ability that has the tap symbol and are unable to attack unless their current controller has controlled them since the beginning of their most recent turn. It does not matter if this creature has been in play for several turns; if it changes controllers, it will be affected by what used to be called "summoning sickness."
i know we have had some confusion about this a couple of times.

..unless given haste. This is what make cards like "Threaten" actually have an impact.
Thanks for the tip Uncle BOP! Keep the thread rolling.

Rules Tip of the Day:
The converted mana cost of most tokens is zero. The only exceptions are token creatures that are copies of other cards. These creatures will have the same converted mana cost as the object they are copying.
That's another one i didn't know.

Ok now if I have a "Minion Reflector" in play and I play a "Clone" copying "Sprouting Thrinax", what will be the converted mana cost of the token generated by Minon Reflector? Let's see who can answer and explain what happens?

Sounds like you get a 4 mana thrinax and a dead token copy of clone because it's a 0/0.

Actually, the token created by the Minion Reflector would depend on which creature the "Clone Token" chooses to copy.

Rules Tip of the Day:
Creatures do not tap when a regeneration shield is created. They tap if this shield is later used, when the creature would be destroyed.
Another good one, i think it has come up recently as well.

The "regeneration shield" must be played like any other ability, so don't try to activate it once you are resolving damage or you would loosed your creature.

Rules Tip of the Day:
If a creature that damage would be redirected to is not in play when this damage would be dealt, then the damage will not be redirected and dealt as normal.

Rules Tip of the Day:
Increasing the power of a creature after combat damage has been put on the stack does not increase the amount of combat damage that creature will deal. In order to be effective, you need to increase the power of a creature in combat before the combat damage step. The last chance to do this is in the declaration of blockers step.

Rules Tip of the Day:
Abilities that trigger at the end of a turn will trigger at the beginning of the end of turn step in the end phase. If a permanent with an end of turn triggered ability (like Hell's Thunder) comes into play, or a delayed triggered ability that triggers at the end of the turn is created (like the one created by [[Mistmeadow Witch's ability) after the start of the end of turn step, then the ability will not trigger now, but wait until the next end of turn step to trigger.

Rules verification tip: Iguanaur does trigger with mass removal such as Wrath or Infest. Here we see the board, a swarm plus the Iguanaur with infest in hand ready to go... ..and here we see the triggers about to go to the stack after the INfest has resolved.. Case closed, carry on.
